300g basmati rice
150g of ham steak
200g peas
2 eggs
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
salt
pepper
vegetable oil
Pour the rice into a pot and cover it with water, which should be 2 cm above the level of the rice itself. Season it with salt and cook for about 15 minutes.
Blanch the peas for about 10 minutes and cut the ham steak into strips. In a wok, sauté the ham steak and peas with just a litte vegetable oil.
Whip the eggs with a pinch of salt and cook them in a nonstick frying pan with a little oil. Cook the frittata on both sides. As soon as it is cooked cut the frittata into strips and set aside.
As soon as the ham is browned add the basmati rice and the frittata cut into strips.
Sauté the Cantonese rice in a pan adding a pinch of salt, pepper and soy sauce.
Serve the Cantonese rice on plates.
