Thanks to hydrothermal treatment with high-temperature steam under pressure and subsequent fast drying, the grain becomes translucent and amber-colored, keeping vitamins, fiber and minerals while gaining the same nutritional content as brown rice. Parboiled rice has also short cooking times and does not overcook, perfect characteristics for quick preparation and for keeping them in the fridge. It’s ideal for risottos, salads, timbales and side dishes. Now it’s available in Environmentally Friendly packaging, 100% recyclable and plastic free.
